His films are characterised by an atmospheric visual style and personal stories, dealing with themes of intimacy, loss and search for understanding in the modern world.

In 2021, Jakub graduated in Film Directing from Lodz Film School. For now, he wrote and directed many shorts such as ‘A Tale of Two Sisters’ and ‘Headfish’ presented at dozens of international film festivals. He also co-wrote Ukrainian features: ‘Blindfold’ and ‘The Glass House’. Currently, Jakub is writing his debut feature film.
